SEA BUCKTHORN

Hippophae Ramnoides, more commonly known Sea Buckthorn, is a deciduous thorny shrub found in Asia and Europe, where it grows abundantly on sea coasts forming thickets on natural dunes and sea cliffs. The small orange berries of the plant are exceptionally rich in Vitamin C and are considered to be one of the most important known plant sources of this beneficial ingredient. It is also recognised for having a naturally powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Extracts are used in treatments for a variety of skin conditions and are recognised to have outstanding effects on dry or damaged skin.
